Support for the Redesign of the S6/S7 Lounge

Our student representatives have started the new school year with ambition: The S6/S7 Lounge is to be redesigned. Many pieces of furniture are no longer usable and need to be replaced, and they also want to make the room more attractive with paint, pictures, and plants.

Part of the costs will be covered by parent donations. The Friends Association supports the project financially, as well as with planning and implementation.

Join us! You can easily donate via Donate Now.

Thank You to our Choir Directors

At the summer festival, the choir parents expressed their sincere thanks to the choir directors for their dedicated commitment over the past school year.
With vouchers and flowers – financed from donations from the parents – they acknowledged the enthusiasm, patience, and joy with which they led the choirs.
This special type of leadership means a great deal to the children – and also to the parents.
Ashley and Nancy help the children find their voice, gain confidence, and experience the magic of making music together.

The Support Association and the Parents’ Association are Covering over 1,600 Books for the Secondary School.

Starting next school year, books funded by the free textbook scheme will also be made available in the secondary school. In recent weeks, approximately 1,600 books have already been labeled and covered by diligent helpers. More will follow during the holidays. This means nothing stands in the way of lending them to students next school year. A huge thank you to all the helpers!

Backpacks for the Duke of Edinburgh Award

ESRM Friends support the Duke of Edinburgh Award with high-quality backpacks
Another concrete funding project by ESRM Friends shows how we can jointly make MORE out of our school: For this year’s Duke of Edinburgh Award, we have purchased high-quality trekking backpacks, which are now available to participants for their expeditions and outdoor activities.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is an international youth program that strengthens young people in their personal development and encourages them to face new challenges – whether it’s hiking, volunteering, or learning new skills. The expeditions are a central part of the program – and that’s exactly what the backpacks are for.

We are very pleased that we were able to support this great project at our school – and wish all participants unforgettable experiences, team spirit and lots of fun!

Football Tournament at the ESRM Summer Festival on June 28

A sporting highlight at the summer festival: the soccer tournament with prizes from the ESRM-Freunde

The soccer tournament was one of the major highlights of this year’s summer festival – full of commitment, enthusiasm, and team spirit on and off the field.
We, the ESRM-Freunde, were happy to support the tournament and donate the trophies and prizes to honor the sporting ambition of the students.

A big thank you goes to Mr. Adams, all the teachers, and the numerous helpers who made the tournament possible with so much dedication and passion.
We are pleased that we, as a sponsoring association, were able to contribute to this – and are already looking forward to next year!

Expert Talk on the Topic “Social Media Usage by Youth”

In the fall of 2025, we are planning an expert lecture by Dr. Laura Mössle, a research associate in the Department of Media Didactics at Goethe University Frankfurt. The media expert will provide recommendations for the proper use of social media and also shed light on the dangers of media consumption for children and adolescents. Interested parents, students, and teachers are cordially invited! Date and location will be announced later.

Quantum Impact Racing Team among the Top 10 in Germany!

The Quantum Impact Racing Team from S6 built the fourth fastest racing car in the German final of the STEM Racing technology competition and achieved a sensational 10th place overall. Congratulations to Luis Botella and the entire team!

The ESRM-Friends have already supported the Quantum Impact Racing Team in the regional competition of the multidisciplinary, international technology competition STEM Racing, where students aged 11 to 19 develop, manufacture, and subsequently race a miniature racing car on the computer. Our team with S6 students Felix Xu, Leo Livius, Ben Heusinger, Michael Oldenburg, Konrad Nailis, and Bo Pan became state champions for Hesse and thus qualified for the German final.
